Thanks for visiting GazingWest.com! This site is my little pet project detailing my bigger pet project of eventually sailing the high seas. I'm super excited about it and add new content regularly.

Currently this site is a collection of tales of my preparations for my trip, including my education, gear that I'm buying, my favorite books, some photos, and who knows what else.

In the future, it'll be my adventures bopping through the South Pacific Ocean, and possibly beyond.
