There are several 'sailing schools' all around the Bay Area. I chose Club Nautique. I can't exactly tell you why I chose CN over the others; call it Woman's Intuition. My experience with them has been outstanding, just outstanding.

Naturally when I started I signed up with the least amount of commitment, and frankly, I had only planned on doing the first class anyway. But the amount that I learned in such a short period of time...I could've bounced around the bay for a year and not come up with all that they taught me.

The boats are very good; the instructors are great. What can I say, now I'm in the "Coastal Passagemaker" program...heading offshore hopefully in a matter of weeks.
